A Night in The Act

Is that a barometer in your pocket, or did you just roll Happy for your mien?

The Act is a science-fantasy sex club suitable for the city of Troika or any other city of the mundane fantastic. Designed for a single session or a recurring location in ongoing play. The zine itself contains discussion of public sex, BDSM, and innuendo, but is not visually or verbally explicit.

Four encouragements for prep and play:

• Ensure other players are on-board for this content. Much can be implied without direct depiction, and much of the sex described looks little like ours.
• While violence and consent violation do occur in such places, they are not the norm. Consider emphasizing consensual and enthusiastic interactions.
• The real-life inspiration for The Act is a queer club where cis- and heteronormativity hold less sway. Troika should only be queerer.
• While capturing the astonishment of entering this type of space is part of the zine's goal, avoid straying into "gawking at the freaks."
